Standard Load

The Standard Load is a standardized channel plan for use within Salt Lake County. We recommend all operators and clubs in the area to follow this standard. Below are links to the current Standard Load:

The Standard Load is intended for programming directly into your radios. Its primary objective is to ensure that a common set of frequencies are saved to the same memory channels across all radios, eliminating the need to manually search for frequencies both for convenience and for emergency or time-sensitive situations.

The Standard Load is specifically tailored for operations within the county. It is organized into structured sections for optimal usability, with high-priority and frequently utilized frequencies placed at the beginning of the sequence to accommodate radios with limited memory capacity. In addition there channel groups at the beginning reserved for individual and club use, with the remaining channels shared among all users.
